Ski touring
Between the wide valleys in southern Troms rise majestic mountain tops with almost 1000
meters steep descents. A stable inland climate gives these peaks excellent snow conditions
all winter. Most of the tops can be reached from the E6.
There are also alternatives for those who prefer lower, less steep slopes.
This is an area with much more to offer than military service and salmon fishing!
